The shawl is very nice for the price and the color is rich (I got orange/champagne paisley), but I wouldn’t have paid more than I did for it. The website says compare at $128 – no way! If you want a nice shawl/scarf for $18, it’s VERY nice!
beautiful but totally different than the picture

Quality of material is nice. However, my wife’s color selection was based on the picture provided (blue/green paisley) which looks different than what was actually received.

All that I expected and more

I ordered this shawl in ivory to match my daughter’s strapless dress for her outdoor wedding this Fall and it’s a perfect match. It will keep her warm when the evening turns chilly and it’s delicate and lovely to look at. I’m very pleased with this item and it arrived on time and in perfect condition. Can’t beat the price either. I’ve purchased 4 more in different colors for birthday gifts for friends, but will probably keep one or more for myself!

I’m very pleased with my new pashmina/silk shawl. It is soft and has a nice sheen to it. I thought about ordering more than one color, but decided to wait until I saw what the shawls were like. Now I wish I would have ordered another shawl or two.
Also, very pleased with how quickly my shawl arrived.
Just one problem! The weather forecast for the night I need the shawl is not good at all. Looks like I’m going to need a coat instead of just a light weight shawl. However, I’m sure that I’ll be able to use it many times in the future since I ordered a basic black one.

Although the pashminas I bought from Amazon are from the HIMALAYAN company, I would like to recommend THIS product, as it is similar in fabric composition (70% pashmina, 30% silk) as the two I bought earlier. This one is lower in price so it may be due to the holiday season or it may be due to the thickness of the product, which is a common issue seen with scarves. Due to the treatment/nature of the fabric, they may contain a chemical/musky odor which I initially had concerns about.
There are several possible solutions to this, as it probably says DRY CLEAN ONLY.
1. dry clean
2. use essential oils/ perfume
3. launder in washer in a zippered net
I chose methods 2 & 3, however, after washing with mild detergent, the musky odor was still present. I hung them up to allow air circulation and after approximately 2-3 months, they became virtually odorless. They are useful, insulating accessories that can be used as a “light jacket” or blanket. I also use them as a throw on the couch. Carry them in your bag or car for an emergency along with a flashlight
